MASTERCLASS | Money Matters: Financial Literacy for Museum and Gallery Workers (Part 4)

Delivered in partnership with the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), this four-part online masterclass is designed to empower participants with the knowledge and tools to confidently navigate financial management, planning, and decision-making without prior training.

COURSES:

Part 4: How to Analyse and Evaluate Business Performance (27 June, 2:00-4:00pm)

  • Learn how to make strategic, data-driven decisions based on financial insights.

  • Explore the most critical financial metrics and ratios every professional should know.

  • Master simple yet effective analysis techniques for better business decisions.

  • Learn how to calculate and interpret these metrics to assess business performance.

  • Use these insights to contribute to strategic discussions and decisions.

CONDITIONS:

  • Each course will run for 2 hours.

  • Recordings will not be made available under VCCI’s terms and conditions.

  • Courses may be booked individually or at a discounted rate as a series.

  • A minimum number of participants is required for this event to proceed. If the minimum is not met, the event may be rescheduled or cancelled. Registered participants will be notified in advance and offered alternative arrangements or a full refund where applicable.

PRESENTER:
Joe Bagnato

Joe is a qualified Certified Practicing Accountant with over 40 years of industry experience working across numerous industries both in the private and public sector. Having been a Principal operating his own accounting practice, Joe has assisted hundreds of SME’s throughout Australia achieve their business goals. Joe’s career has included being a member of both executive and senior finance teams and he has been responsible for the management of Finance, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Shared Services functions.

With extensive experience in management and financial accounting, financial reporting, systems improvements, process re-engineering, and project management, Joe has worked with numerous organisations to assist them in increasing productivity, improve staff culture, reduce costs and increase profits. Joe is an energetic and informative trainer whose countless real-life examples make the learning process easy to understand, meaningful and fun.
