MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

The Australian Museums and Galleries Association (AMaGA) connects over 1,200 individuals and organisations across Australia. Membership provides access to national networks, sector news, professional development, advocacy support, funding alerts, and discounted rates for conferences and events.

Membership runs for 12 months from the date of joining or renewal. All prices are in AUD and include GST.

Organisational membership fees

Organisational membership of AMaGA is based on annual operating budget found in organisational annual reports or on the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission website

  • Level A is reserved for organisations with an annual operating budget of less than $50,000.

  • Level B is reserved for organisations with an annual operating budget from $50,000 to $200,000.

  • Level C is reserved for organisations with an annual operating budget from $200,000 to $2 million.

  • Level D is reserved for organisations with an annual operating budget from $2 million to $8 million.

  • Level E reserved for organisations with an annual operating budget from $8 million to $25 million.

  • Level F is reserved for State organisations with an annual operating budget of more than $25 million.

  • Level A reserved for National organisations with an annual operating budget of more than $25 million.

From aspiring students to established professionals, retirees and volunteers, individual membership with AMaGA opens plenty of doors.
