MANAGER | ACCREDITATION PROGRAMS
TOYAH HORMAN
Toyah joined AMaGA Victoria in mid-2022 to work on the Bushfire Recovery Project, working with bushfire effected communities to help digitise their collections. In 2023 she moved into the role of Program Manager, to oversee the Community and Collections Resilience Project, a state-wide initiative providing training in digitisation and collections management as a means to prepare communities for potential future natural disaster events. From 2024, she will step into the role of Accreditation Manager.
Obtaining a Masters in Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies, Toyah previously has worked as a researcher in the fields of heritage and cultural diplomacy and worked on a variety of international projects with University College London, LaSalle College of the Arts Singapore and UNESCO Jakarta. Closer to home she has been involved with the National Film and Sound Archive, Museums Victoria and Heritage Victoria.
When not out working with the community, Toyah enjoys pottering in the garden, discovering new cake shops around Melbourne and daydreaming about overseas travel.
