Executive
Represented AMaGA Victoria on the Arts Industry Council of Victoria, working together with other peak bodies to establish shared sector priorities ahead of the November election.
Launched the inaugural Victorian Sector Census, a landmark initiative reaching over 1,300 collecting organisations across the state to build the evidence base for sector-wide advocacy.
Partnered with the Public Galleries Association of Victoria to capture evidence for the sector. While the Sector Census aims to capture a statewide picture of presenting and collecting organisations in their diversity, PGAV's Benchmarking Survey provides detailed analysis of the public gallery sector. The information gathered through both processes will inform a joint report to be co-authored by AMaGA Victoria and PGAV.
Established a volunteer outreach network for the Sector Census, recruiting and training volunteers through two dedicated information sessions with full onboarding documentation.
Delivered a Sector Census Information Session along with Vice President Monica Cronin, strengthening direct engagement with the sector.
Served as a panelist for The Bigger Picture discussion at the 2026 Forum, Speaking Plainly: Honest Conversations for a Sector in Transition, at Queen Victoria Women's Centre. The panel included Amrit Gill (Theatre Network Australia), Jo Porter (Regional Arts Victoria), and Kent Wilson (National Exhibition Touring Support Victoria), and was chaired by Emily Sexton (ACMI).
Chaired the 2026 Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies Advisory Board meeting, welcoming new representatives, including our very own Mitraja Bais.
Called over 100 organisations as part of the Sector Census outreach efforts.

Visited The Dax Centre to meet with staff and view the exhibitions Recovering Art, curated by Andy Butler, and Embrace, in collaboration with Arts Access Victoria.
Hosted our third Accreditation Advisory Committee meeting for the year, discussing a range of topics including potential funding and partnership ideas for MAP and CMAP.
Held preparatory meetings, developed discussion notes and planned travel with peer reviewers for Reaccreditation site visits.
Commenced 2026 Reaccreditation site visits at Hawthorn Football Club Museum and RACS College of Surgeons Museum, with expert peer reviewers joining to provide advice on deaccessioning projects and student placement opportunities.
Promoted the newly ratified ICOM Code of Ethics and exploring impacts for MAP and CMAP materials.
Attended Association of Eastern Historical Societies Conference Conference and promoted KDS, CMAP and MAP at lunchtime trade tables.

Successfully delivered Speaking Plainly: Honest Conversations for a Sector in Transition on Tuesday 22 July to nearly 80 participants.
