AMaGA Victoria and PGAV are proud to continue celebrating excellence across Victoria’s museum and gallery sector. In response to the timing changes made by AMaGA National for its National Conference and Awards last year, we have decided to adjust the date of the Victorian Museums and Galleries Awards. This shift is designed to create a clearer distinction between the two awards.

AMaGA Victoria has made a submission into the Inquiry into the Cultural and Creative Industries in Victoria.

As the peak body for the Victorian museum and gallery industry, AMaGA Victoria aims to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas in ways that affirm their value, stimulate debate about principles and standards, and inform and inspire staff, volunteers, and supporters. Providing a representative voice for collecting organisations at all government and community levels and foster high museum and gallery management standards through research, policy development, publications, and training.
