AMELIA MARRA

Amelia Marra is a Pakeha museum professional living and working on Woi Wurrung (Wurundjeri) and Boonwurrung land, passionate about people, problem-solving and progressive practice.

Since joining AMaGA Victoria in 2017, Amelia has held roles in Administration, and the Accreditation Programs, and has contributed to industry guidelines and publications including the National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries (Second Edition) and Small Museums Cataloguing Manual (Fifth Edition). She is presently a member of the City of Darebin Art and Heritage Advisory Committee.

Prior to her time with AMaGA Victoria, Amelia worked in exhibition and policy development with museums and local government organisations.

When Amelia’s not working, typically she can be found exploring art and social history exhibitions, or scouring Victoria’s op-shops, and on a really good day crafting an itinerary which combines both.
