Exhibition Services Program
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Exhibition Services Program was designed to provide in-depth exhibition support for four community museums per year. The program supports Victorian collecting organisations to develop high-quality exhibitions for diverse audiences through the Roving Curator Program and the provision of advice and training.
ROVING CURATOR
The Roving Curator Program (2014 - 2019) helped museums and galleries develop engaging and dynamic exhibitions. The program offered an exhibition professional (Roving Curator) to work with successful applicants on an exhibition-related project. Support provided includes several days of on-site assistance in the areas of planning for exhibition spaces; developing and presenting exhibitions; and marketing, funding, and evaluating exhibitions; as well as follow-up advice.
