Spotlight on Reaccreditation | Australian Jazz Museum

The Australian Museums and Galleries Association Victoria is proud to announce that the Australian Jazz Museum (AJM) has successfully achieved Reaccreditation as part of the 2025 Reaccreditation cohort through the Community Museum Accreditation Program (CMAP).

The Reaccreditation process acknowledged the Australian Jazz Museum’s strong productivity in both planning and delivering initiatives, alongside the substantial refresh of its onsite exhibition and performance space. The process further commended the museum’s cultivation of an inclusive and democratic internal culture, which has successfully fostered a cohesive volunteer workforce and a robust approach to succession planning. The Museum’s proactive approach to seeking advice and inspiration reflects a deep dedication to continual improvement, mirroring the significant progress made in its collections management and storage rationalisation.
